Welcome to the DLF in Second Life wiki!!

 

 

 

We would like to hear from DLF members interested in Second Life!!  Please email Esther Grassian or Deni Wicklund so we can welcome you.

 

 

The Digital Library Federation presence in Second Life is an island called Entropia.

We have a beautiful building, a very large meeting room with a screen for displaying live RL (real life) video feeds, as well as slide shows. We also have a number of other meeting rooms, lounge areas, and seminar rooms. We welcome people like you who have ideas and/or SL skills to contribute to this island.

 

Nine Mellon Seminars in Digital Humanities are already scheduled for RL and SL on Entropia, during the 2008/2009 academic year, with a live video feed from the RL location at UCLA. We are looking for additional discussion topics and discussion leaders, programs, builders, collections to feature, collaborative projects, and more on Entropia. Please join us or send us your ideas!
